From July 13 to July 19, 2023, the National Center of Technology Innovation for Digital Construction hosted the 2023 Intelligent Construction Summer Camp, which aligned with the 2030 Global Development Strategy of Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
The camp attracted nearly 150 students from 68 universities nationwide, with 38 students ultimately participating offline. During the workshop sessions, participants tackled practical engineering challenges, learning key technologies in robotics, IoT sensing, and software platforms while producing corresponding work outcomes.
Additionally, the camp featured lectures by distinguished experts, including Professor Miroslaw J. Skibniewski from the University of Maryland and Professor Peter E.D. Love from Curtin University. These experts discussed development trends and cutting-edge topics in intelligent construction, providing an excellent platform for participants to engage with academic frontiers.
